I will soon be a senior in highschool. I plan to attend SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design) and major in graphic design and minor in advertising. I have a cat name Sgt. Pepper. I collect clocks. I have been taking ballet for about 3 years. I dont know if I'll continue ballet in college (but I want to). Frogs are one of my favorite animals. Fanta is my favorite soft drink. I am pagan, specifically I am druid. And in case you havent figured it out, teapots are my specialty.

So I went to work on my cross-stitch today and as I was tying off my previous string - my needle broke!! I didn't even know that was possible. This is going to be a somewhat major setback towards finishing this cross-stitch, unless I can find another needle because I don't know when I'll be able to go out and buy another one. >:/

Rant about Mature Content Filter

I swear to god, this stupid mature content filter is enough to make me not want to use deviantart.
I understand why its there. There's a whole load of legal problems just waiting to happen if it wasnt there. But seriously?? I am 16 years old. I have seen my fair share of "mature" content. The stuff that is marked mature on this site....is not mature!! Porn is not allowed on this site....so what "mature" stuff is there to see??
I can understand having a filter on the actual nude pictures...but really....if its not porn, then how is it offensive?? What the fuck are they afraid of??
For example....I belong to a yaoi group so its lots of gay b

Should I use a more "professional" background (such as the standard all white) when photographing my ceramic works??
(Please note that in the future when I submit things for my college portfolio, I will use an all white background. I'm just wondering for pictures that I put on here.)
